Apartment Remodel

A mid-century courtyard building, refreshed and kept affordable.

Two-story brick apartment building with landscaped garden beds along the walkway.

We purchased a vacant mid-century apartment building in one of Houston’s prime neighborhoods. The building had a dated look but good bones, and it sat on a quiet, tree-lined dead-end street — unusually peaceful for that part of town.

The upgrade was intentionally restrained: updated landscaping, a revived courtyard and pool, and refreshed units throughout — done carefully, and priced to stay accessible in a neighborhood that mostly isn’t. The finished property had a Melrose Place feel — a nod to the 90s show — in one of Houston’s premier neighborhoods.
